All About the Superstar Shuttle

Since your vacation package includes transfers via Universal’s Superstar Shuttle, I wanted to include a bit more information about how it works and what you can expect once you land at the Orlando International Airport.

Once you land, take the tram to the main terminal and collect your luggage on Level 2.

Arrival Between 7 AM and 8:30 PM Eastern:
Proceed to Level 1, where all Ground Transportation is located.

When you are on Level 2 look for the Universal Orlando check-in desk. This is located at the end of the rental car desk row, near Hertz, or across by the windows and doors.

Check-in with the Team Member for your arranged shuttle. They will present you with a great travel wallet with all your tickets and dining cards printed. If your package includes the Express Pass, and you are staying at Portofiono Bay, Hard Rock or the Royal Pacific, you will need to print this at your resort once you check-in (click here for more information on Express Pass). If you are staying at Sapphire Falls or Cabana Bay and have purchased the Express Pass, it will be in your Travel Wallet.

They will also direct you where to pick up the transfer van.

Arrival before 7 AM or after 8:30 PM Eastern:
After you have picked up your luggage on Level 2, call 407-513-4455 to check in and confirm your reservation. You will be told where to pick up the transfer van on Level 3 and you will be texted the information. (I have placed your phone number on file with them).  The text will come from 602-833-0854, it will list your van number along with a locator map.  The SuperStar Shuttle is run by the larger company, SuperShuttle.

Pick up your travel wallet from your resort Attraction Desk, located in the lobby, the next morning.

On Level 3, across from the rental desks are doors that lead outside, and directly outside are numbered parking spots where the various shuttles meet their guests. Typically your wait will be 20 minutes or less for the shuttle van. The van is clearly marked with the Universal Orlando logo.

The driver will assist with your luggage, a tip is accepted for exceptional service! (generally $1-2 per bag)

The shuttle may make a stop on the other side of the airport as well before going off to Universal. Once you are on the road, the drive is only about 30 minutes and there will be a movie shown during the ride.

Once you arrive on property the shuttle may make stops at other Universal hotels before yours, your driver will announce the stops.

After your vacation, your return is very similar. You will meet the van directly outside your hotel, where you were dropped off. The driver will confirm your details and may make additional stops before returning to the Orlando International Airport.

I will include transfer information inside your vacation planner.
